Whats the best herbicides to kill clovers? I have some clover plots that I want to turn back into cereal grain and brassicas.
I tried spraying roundup and 24d and clover is still going strong.
When drilling beans whats the best planting protocol for herbicide and fertilizer?
Do you drill fertilizer in with beans and spray roundup over top after?
Thanks. When it burns switch will switch die or just burn and recover?
Obviously I will do my best to target precise rate but sometimes with atv sprayers it's not allways super accurate
Will I kill my miscathus or switchgrass if I go to heavy with quinclorac or duracore? Having some grasses abd broadleafs coming in after simazine application is wearing off
If the weeds are starting to creep in, can I spray with duracore right away and round up and plant within a week or do I need to wait longer? Will duracore injure switch like 24d?
Whats a good herbicide protocol for a successful stand of planting rc bigrock?
When to apply herbicide and what herbicide do you use?
When to drill the switch ?
What to spray after drilling switch?
What to spray and when following drilling the switch?
Never drilled switch so thought someone on...
What if you hit your switch with 24d already this spring? Could you still spray duracore on it and how much do you spray and how long would I need to wait since the last spraying of 24d?
Do you spray duracore on miscantus too?
Just trying to figure out if 2 acres planted in beans would be big enough here in Central Iowa for a food plot that is surrounded by ag fields.
My plan was to plant 2 acres in beans here soon and then seed rye, brassicas and clover into it.
I know alot of guys would say 2 acres worth of beans...
Do you need to wait to spray it before first flush of weeds if it's bare dirt or just broadcast now since we are getting rain?
I'm thinking if I broadcast seed now I may run into issues in the future with weeds coming alive in seed bank. Thoughts?
Anyone have any ideas on how I could get switch to grow on a steep slope backside of pond dike?
I'm afraid if I broadcast it will wash away and I will be hard to pack on a 45 degree steep of a slope.
Just had a conversation with a tree farm owner yesterday and he said it's best to put trees in the soil you will transplant them to. Makes sense and probably helps with easier adjustment to tree and less chance for transplant shock
Whats the best way to pot norway spruce plugs? Do you use regular dirt from the ground the tree will be transplanted into or use miracle grow potting soil? Never did this before.
