I'll admit. I got caught up in the Ranch Fairy heavy arrow thing. BUT, I'm glad I did. I've bowhunted since 1991 and never really understood arrows (spine, grain weight, FOC (front of center), etc). This was way more educational for me than anything. Going through the whole process...
I've been mowing mine monthly. Just mowed yesterday, but only because we had more rain in the forcast. If hot/dry, I'm leaving mine alone. Mowing has really been helping with broadleaf weeds.
Just a quick update. Grass is dead. I mowed last weekend (5/20) and checked yesterday. It's all brown. It just needed time to work. Lesson learned on Cleth. :)
Starting at the simple end, but may need a real "trap" at some point. Just got some tarred 320lb bank line and some good hooks. I'm going to put them out next weekend and see how that goes. No way is that thing breaking through this rig. LOL Well, hopefully not.
Was 70’s when I sprayed. It’s cleth, so maybe it takes a while. I’ll mow it next weekend and see how it’s reacting.
Thanks!

He cut one of our 4 bank lines. Checked Tuesday. Going with a trot line type line and steel leaders. I had used trilene big game 50lb and it cut clean through.
