Congratulations, I'm sure that was an incredible hunt! How old is your son?

Skip that looks incredible, that's a dream pond! I've been spending my spring shed hunting (found 53 so far), doing my first TSI ever (quite the learning curve), preparing almost 7 acres of ground for plots this spring/summer, and prepping to hit the lake chasing some spawning largemouth.

This sounds EXACTLY like my areas. Combinations of cedar/locust/honeysuckle. Does it make sense to drop the locust all the way to provide some ground level cover? Also curious if it makes sense to eradicate the honeysuckle before doing any TSI work? I would assume that would be the smartest.
