I rented one of the small Jeep 4X4's in AZ a couple years ago. Relatively cheap, and I was impressed with it's capabilities on muddy roads. It might just meet your need and be a lot cheaper than a truck.

If you don't mind me asking, how many points and GMU's in AZ and WY? I've got a few elk and muley PP's in AZ, muley PP's in WY, and have hunted WY goats a few times. Not to mention Iowa whitetail points.

Stumbled across this forum. And signed up! Avid deer and turkey hunter living in East Tennessee. Successfully bow hunted Iowa zone 4 a few times, and sitting on 1 preference point...ugh!!
