    Young Archer

Yeah I am confused too, It is weird cause I can pull the bow back and have the string touch my nose and it feels good to me. No he has no problem pulling it back. I think he may be deformed or something. LOL.

When are you taking days off?

Oct 25,26, Nove 9-18. Just so happens the field and stream magazine says Nov. 9 is probably the single best day to be in the stand. I guess we will see.

    Cant find my buck

Don't give up! When they get vitally hit sometimes those bucks can go a long ways just on adrenaline. They will often make a mad dash on a b line then just pile up. Make sure you cover a huge area not just the immediate area you were in. Good luck and with persistence you will find him.

    Pack Rats?

Haven't seen any in Iowa but I was turkey hunting down there in KS last spring. I found out the hard way what the big pile of sticks was behind my turkey sitting tree. Those little bugers are fierce critters. They don't make nests out of sticks either those are logs in my book.

Way to go to that little boy, I'm sure he already wants to go again, but now he is going to have to learn patience and wait til next year. Glad to see some youths having fun and getting in the outdoors, before the woods are crawling with people. I have one statement for all of the members here...
