    Cwd again

They want these 250 deer tested but we also have a late antlerless rifle season in january to lower the population and they dont care if we test them. I have a sneaky suspicion in 5 years or so when the grant money runs out this will all change. Life will go on as usual and we will live with...

    October Hunting Tactics?

I love October. My 3 biggest bowkills were on Oct 5th, Oct 5th, and Oct. 18th. Cold fronts. Kill'm before it turns into a needle and haystack

    Cuddelinks

I had one of my antennas get chewed so all of mine went to metal rods. I wonder if a guy slipped a sleeve of some sort over them if it would change reception. Im running solar panels on each cam too. Figured the cord would get eaten immediately. So far no issues on the rods.

Browning Strike Forces Extreme Trail Camera 20mp

These allow you to set at lower megapixels. I never run my cams at full quality.

    Scrape line rigs

I use grape vines. They seem to hold up better than anything else. Location is key. If you can find somewhat of an opening and hang this in the middle they will go nuts. I was told to take a vine that has been used on farm A and swap with a vine from farm B and they really get pissed...

GRIZZLY coolers - Iowa company & didn’t turn back on NRA!

Grizzly's price dropped considerably last year. They mainly sell direct now so they were able to do this. Great coolers. Great people and big outdoorsmen. I'm 15 minutes from them so I was able to still stock them (no shipping) and make a profit.

    Rookie

If your bowhunting a blind and decent decoys are a must imo. Ive had way to many birds skirt setups or offer subpar shots. I would scout the area as much as possible right before season and then just get in their way. They will show up.

    Wireless Trail Cameras

I think you guys are mistaken. My understanding is the Cuddelink will only be Verizon not AT&T for 2018. This is from my rep and my 2018 pricing.

Iowa DNR Listening Meeting Feb 21st

In the case of lowering #'s in Allamakee and Clayton counties you simply cannot talk your way out of this. CWD is their defense and I can assure you they are not looking for the publics input here. They are telling you what is going to happen period. I've been to the CWD meetings where they...

    Scopes for Bushmaster 450

I sold around 100 Ruger American 450 Bushmasters last fall. A lot got Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40 bdc's on them. Zero at 100 then hashes are like 143,203,252,300. Any BDC will be very close to these numbers. Leupold and Burris also make a very nice scope. I hunted with a 3-12x42 Vortex...

    Deer hunting proposals for 2018

I guess I better lock up some ground in zone 9 now. I wonder if this would allow a NR to draw a bow tag in say 2 yrs or 3 instead of 4. I suppose it depends on how many of the 300 are alloted to bow season. If a NR could draw a bow tag say every other year all of our decent chunks of land...
