Deer are like people. there are big ones, small ones, fat ones,Skinny ones. I think the only way to gat an accurate age is to know them from year to year. It is easy to tell a real young one though.

So far i don't see anyone eating it up yet. Most on this sight know how to have a normal discussion.

We had one that got out of a elk pen this spring and the dnr gave them ample time to take care of it. They ended up getting it shot them selves. I also know another guy that had one in his pasture and the co told him he could shoot it. so it goes both ways.

This is not the first buck that would have been a potential world record if it wasnt for the common base g2s. Its looks to me that the extra tine on his right g3 is for sure a non typical point. I think the only reason that this buck got so much attention is because of the buyer.

Its all good,but i am not going to get into my stand 2 hours before the first hint of daylight! I have noticed that if i do bump a deer in the dark,it dont seem to spook them near as bad as if its daylight and they know you saw them.
