    Crossbows…

You Iowa hunters need to fight like never before to keep crossbows out. You can't afford to lose a battle or you will never win the war to keep Iowa great. I am from Michigan, cross bows were allowed back in 2009, the next 2 years from 2009 to 2011 the hunters using them doubled going to...

    Disheartening

So I gave bucksnbears and Iowavf both a thumbs up. I have plenty of blinds that I have heaters in and totally enjoy the warmth. I will still go out and narrow down a ground spot when the need arises and totally enjoy those moments also, they r some of my most memorable times.

It was using oil before I put it on bout the same amount yours is going through, it never used any more than that after I put the disabler on. I also changed oil every 3,000 miles that is what my mechanic strongly recommended on this engine. oil is cheep compared to a new engine.

    Chestnut planting

Chestnuts r very fickle, you will loose some. Once you find the correct soil location they will grow fast. Maybe take half your trees and put on 2 different locations. Sent from my SM-G715U1 using Tapatalk

    Chestnut planting

Clay comes in different forms of let's say how tight a clay it is . Every farmer that has clay says he has the hardest clay around. If you have other trees growing that a good sign, it's just that the chestnuts will do better and grow faster in a loamy soil. Putting other soil with it probably...

    Chestnut planting

30' apart They do not like heavy clay. Try for some loamy well drained soil, I have had very good luck on forest like soil. Protecting them is a must. Sent from my SM-G715U1 using Tapatalk

Single most important ingredient in a food plot?

Sometimes just can't win, try not to get discouraged. Be very careful not to change or make a drastic move just because of a situation. Keep on it what you r doing. 1 example , I hear farmers say because of a early frost this year I will never plant that long of a day corn ever again. Sent...
