I sat from 4 til dark. Saw several does and 1 - 90" buck wandering around. The rain and wind didn't seem to bother them too much as there two fawns walked in as I was hanging my stand and never even knew I was there and the first doe in the corn at about 4:30. No big boys though.

That's tough! It sounds like you needed a partner that coud have gotten up and snuck about 30 yards away to make it sound like the hen was leaving. I have had that work quite a bit. It can be tough to call them across water. Hope you have better luck the rest of the year. Gundog
