    Help with Soybean seed rate

I've been told by the DNR if you are spreading beans it is 1.5xs what you usually put on. 50lbs through a planter per acre would mean you would want to do about 75 lbs. I did this last year and it worked really good. I wouldn't be scared to put on 100lbs per acre.

    Questions about Food Plot

I was talking to guy that runs a sprayer and its about 4 oz per gallon of water. We bumped it up to 5 oz to be on the safe side. We did 4 acres and I can report back this weekend with what it looks like.

    Electric Fence question

Here's the electric fence we put up. Walked around it this weekend and there aren't any tracks in the mud, so it must be working. I didn't get any pictures but will get one this coming weekend.

    Electric Fence question

I am looking at putting electric fence around a couple of my food plots that I will try to keep the deer out of so they don't mow it down like they did last year. What brand and what size of voltage have you used? Also are there other ways out there that people have tried and had success...

If deer & deer hunting disappeared what would you do?

I would log my whole timber. Try to have some of it farmed to help make the payment. Put in ponds to fish and shoot ducks. i'd be a much better golfer, but my bar tab would be much higher. Who doesn't love a few blue yummies on a 95 degree day.

I planted 5 acres of beans last year, which I didn't fence off first year owning the farm and lesson learned, and the deer demolished them. Went back in and put in Horny Buck Seed, 3 different varieties, they were coming in awesome then we had 16 inches of rain in august and september and it...
