Just be happy you aren't in the same situation we are here. 95% of my county didn't get seeded this year so there is nothing for the deer to eat this winter......it is going to be interesting to see what the herd looks like next year if we get a large amount of snow like we have the last 3 years.

No its not a good selling point since I never had a deer run more then 80 yards when shot with a fixed head and always had good blood trails. Its a big step backwards in my experience anyway.

Not sure why you would want someone elses deer in your profile pic? 160 yards with a 25-06 isn't a stretch by any means for that gun. Were do you think you hit him at? Did you have it sighted in dead on at 200? You probably hit him a bit high and back for him to run that far after getting...

I started growing a goatie at the beginning of the season and promised my wife I would shave it after I filled my tag. Well......tag is filled and my buck is at the taxidermist, but I still have the goatie. It just looks too good to shave off!! ;)
