bought one last year.....infrared flashed before it took a picture so all the night pics were pitch black....took it back and got a moultrie D55 IR and never looked back.
I would have to say the grip is more important then the brace height. If you can't shoot consistently with a grip it won't matter what the brace height is you won't shoot good. Go shoot several bows and find out what grip suits you and go with the one that fits you best. You won't see much...
Is the Powertech tuned?
I mean if your cams are out of time or the bow is out of specs of course it will shoot bad.
Maybe all it needs is a good tune-up to make it shoot better.
Who cares about what some trophy club says it scores....you have yourself a world class whitetail there. Put it on the wall and look at it each day and know it is one of the biggest ever shot and be proud of yourself. Who cares what the public says about it or some so called experts. Everyone...

One of my cams is a stealth cam....I got it about 6 years ago.
It has been reliable and the battery life is good, but the trigger speed is horrible and the pics aren't that great.
I keep it around because when I put it out I know it is going to work.......I can't say that for a lot of other...

Wow that sounds like a fun hunt and with a longbow no less.......I really want to get into traditional archery.....stories like this fuel the fire.
