We now have an anti-public land bill in the senate to fight. It is much more subtly written but prevents public land acquisition. It even specifically mentions water control structures for flood and water quality purposes...
Please send emails to the three listed above. It would be nice when I attend the sub committee tomorrow, that they hear from enough people that they stamp a big NO on it without saying a word.
I agree with Bonker and will add you should read new paragraph and explanation to HF 218
16 NEW PARAGRAPH . f. If a nonresident fails to take a deer 17 during the season being hunted, the person may use an unfilled 18 tag in a subsequent deer hunting season using the method of 19 take...
How Are Laws Made / Legislation Passed
The bills that were carried over from last year’s calendar can be reassigned. The bills that made it through committee last year are still alive until disposed of this session. Either the bills die or they go back through the sub-committee process and...
· 32 – average Corn Suitability Rating (CSR) of public lands Average CSR rating for Iowa farmland is 87. There's no way to make a living raising crops on land with a CSR rating of 32. Sorry FB
· $2,258 – FY17 average purchase price per acre for public lands

This just seems to be another foot in the door piece of legislation. At age 70 most people could go to Dr and get disabled permit. Already they have antlerless tag and can use crossbow in late ML season. With disabled permit they can hunt regular archery season and the youth/disabled season. Now...

I’ve been...
Liv PM me your address, promise you will receive all all you have paid for.
"I have sent in money twice to the IBA but after I have done that I have not heard anything. No newsletters, email updates etc or letters saying I need to renew. I did not see a benefit outside of just sending money...
The House and Senate Natural Resource Committees meet (1 or 2 times a week) depending how what legislation there is. If they have questions or need information they will invite in guests. You are welcome to attend these meeting, but are not allowed to speak unless you are on the agenda. You can...
I’d like to thank everyone for contacting their legislators, it is making a difference. The work isn’t done yet, so keep hammering away. Be careful about the terminology we use when contacting our legislators, stay away from inflammatory words or phrases to describe deer numbers; decimated...

For our NR friends
Are you satisfied with the way your state bowhunting organization has handled the internal and external pressures that were put on hunting in your state the last 15-20 years?
Would you say?
I’m very satisfied
