When I applied for Wyoming elk, I got things in the mail for fund raisers for groups who were granted tags. Local youth organizations were given an elk tag to raffle and keep proceeds for organization. I am sure there are 75 deserving charities or groups in Iowa that could raffle the licenses...

I just gave one of my extra harnesses to a kid starting hunting. No point in keeping 3 and 4 harnesses on the shelf that you will never use. Give them away!!!

At this time of year I wish I had 10 IR cams to throw everywhere I find a scrape. As limited as my hunting time is, I love running out at midday or late at night to switch out a card. Not to mention nothing lower than getting to the cam with great anticipation and finding you forgot to turn it...

One useful thing I found with kids and novices was to always use a whisker biscuit rest. When arrows don't fall off the rest and they can't screw things up then shooting is more enjoyable. Dare I mention the "M" brand bow?? They have some nice short draw models.
