The Browning is a good bow. My son has a Bowtech Rascal and it is well made. Modules are easy to change and the arrows really fly out of it!! Look around on net as many can be found used. I got them for my kids on archerytalk classifieds.
I broadcast rye right into standing beans along the woods last year and with timely rain they grew very well. DIdn't do anything to the soil, but I did seed it pretty darn heavy.
I like mine a lot, but wish the tether was just a little longer for turning in the tree. Customer service is awesome, they helped me get one custom fit. Highly recommend.
Looking for a seeding rate for AWP. Plan to broadcast and cover, so I will go a little heavy. ANyone over seed them into standing corn? Got some pretty cheap so looking to try something new.
The beauty of bowhunting is he will be within 20-30 yards of you when you make that decision, so hopefully you will get time to judge him. I may be crazy, but maybe has more growth ahead of him??? Basing my opinion on your area, not mine.
I did it and wish I had found Doubletree first because I planted it too thick and then couldn't get it mowed due to some other problems. Still looks pretty good for the most part but I think the rye ended up being more bedding and for birds than a food source. Looks like straw in my clover now.
Guess I am the only one who can't find any extra time after little league, work, family outings, etc. Used to be in great shape but getting harder to find the time. I'll try harder....
This may not matter, but depending on the soil, I stop putting any mineral out now and by season it is pretty much gone and deer are showing it no interest. I also try to put it away fromstands as well.
