From everything I heard it will be 4-5 years before they go to 4g. I also think that Verizon gave them a discount when they went to 4g from 3g. In five years I think technology will be a lot better going to 4g and like arm I figured US will work with me on it.
Lollll,
I agree. Just finished mine late Sunday night and it went from 80% chance of rain to 50% to now 0% go figure.
Also found out first hand about the evaporation characteristics of urea. Spread some on a plot late Saturday night and was going to till it in first thing Sunday. Well by Sunday...
Gotcha and totally understand Thank You. What I don't understand is he said to put 300# of nitrogen on there. So from what I have read in the past in the Dbltree thread is if you need 300# of Urea you will need 12 bags of urea on it (200 lbs. or four bags of Urea will give you 92# of Nitrogen...
I sorta understand. In the above post he says to use 300# urea/acre. Urea is 46-0-0, which means 100 actual dry weight pounds of urea will give you 46% N. 200 lbs. actual dry weight will give you 92% urea. So that being said to get 300# urea/acre I will need actually 600# actual dry weight of...
Sprayed a second time last night (7/22/2018). Plan on disking it up this Friday and planting this weekend. How much Urea per acre is everyone now doing? I assume if I plant Saturday plenty of time for the residual of the 2-4d not to effect it?
Couple questions thinking about the upcoming planting of turnips and radishes next month. Usually I just till the clover under for a green manure and plant. What usually happens though is the clover and other weed seeds will come back and suffocate the turnips in certain areas. Not a totally big...
Well we finally received about 2" of rain Friday and Saturday. How long does it usually take to see if they are going to sprout or not? It has been two weeks and only a few have made it out of the ground so far. Most did not have any sprouting off the rhizome when I received them and they went...
Just planted 800 rhizomes this past weekend. Getting its first rain today. I wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions and answering all my questions. It was a hot one but hopefully it all goes well and enhances the hunting and frees up time not having to plant EW every year.
Thank you for all the insight and suggestions guys. I have 800 coming tomorrow and its go time. I just wish that stuff would stay where you put it and grew to 14' every year on its own. I am debating on throwing some EW on one side of it but didn't know how that would work.
Goatman,
With the aggressive growing you are saying it is choking out the middle? What spacing did you start with and did you do a double row or a single row? Could you somehow trim out an area for a blind if you wanted to?
"Thinking two rows would just do the same and just grow on the outsides...
Was thinking about 8' since I can get a tiller and tractor and in there then. I guess I read somewhere in here to go 24" wide between them and 24" on center the length by somewhere in this forum. Is that not correct?
