Yep!! It sure is discouragring seeing all these reports and I'm seeing very little if any rut activity. Does and fawns crawling all over me but no bone!!!

Vacation?? What is vacation? I only wish I had the ability to take more than 1 or 2 days off at a time. I have seen very little rut activity and others say it has chasing grunting and even some breeding. This isnt really unusual. I would hope for the cool weather to continue and wait for...

Saw 3 bucks feeding together last night and many does and fawns feeding, very little rut behavior. Saturday morning saw a few small bucks bumping does but nothing serious. I have never seen as many doe/fawns on this farm I'm hunting. I'm hoping with all the ladies around that it will bring...

The dark areas are dried velvet that hasn't been rubbed off.

Sat in thick fence line in between picked corn and picked beans tonight and saw 17 doe/fawns and no bucks. I'd say its still early on that farm
