Do you hate the residents that buy up ground to hunt and put up "no hunting signs"? Or is it just the non residents that bother you? The biggest landowners next to my place are residents, and guess what, they don't give access to anyone they don't know either.
My idea is anything but selfish, it's all about protecting the resource and more NR tags would be good for the economy but horrible for deer hunting. Btw I'm not some guy with more $$ than the average guy, I'm 32 years old and work 70 hours a week so I can afforded things I want. Most people...
As a non resident I'd rather them keep the NR tag quotas the same and double the cost of it, a lot of guys would drop out of the system which would reduce the amount points it would take to draw a tag, but I still believe there's enough serious guys to still sell out thus doubling the income...
As a NR landowner I hope Iowa never changes(although I think it will). If you want to hunt every year you can hunt any other state, and have a lesser quality hunt because of it. I would rather have a great hunt every 4 years than a ok one every year.
I'm a non resident land owner and I hope Iowa never changes its laws for non residents. I know a lot of guys that would buy land if they could hunt it legally, next thing you know Iowa would turn into Pike county Illinois and the hunting would suck. Personally I would much rather wait a few...
The guy in the picture sure looks like Ted Marum. This picture was taken from his outfitting website and it sure looks like the same guy with the pile a deer. I don't know the story behind all those deer but since he outfits in Iowa Missouri and Wisconsin I would find more likely that it was...
The guy in the picture looks like Ted Marum, he owns Tri State Outfitters and is a land manager that operates out of Zone 4 and Zone 5 around Appannose and Mornroe county. Hes been on Primetime Bucks a few times and I think he is connected with Ron Skoronski and Steve Snow. The article didn't...
Not positive on the score but I think it was rumored to be around 240.From what I read on other websites its 100% wild free range buck from Ohio.It was all over the internet awhile ago.
Im from New Jersey and they made those awful things legal a few years ago.Alot of guys think you can take 100 yard shots and not need to practice so expect to see alot more wounded deer. Also since they made them legal the buck harvest has increased to the point that they are now taking away 3...
