I heard an old timer say once that static electricity can ignite gun powder. I too am curious about the details of the accident for the sake of others not repeating the actions that caused it. My heart goes out to them, absolutely tragic in every sense. Prayers for everyone involved.

Man that was a close one! Was that in fact a Mossberg rifled barrel? My son shoots that in a 20 ga. I buy him the expensive sabot rounds for it and have never had any trouble. I dont think you want to shoot the cheaper "rifled" slugs through those barrels

I have heard of guys adding a makeshift "Chimney" out of drain tile, etc.... String up a ten or 15 foot piece in a tree above your blind. Lets your scent drift out way above the deer's nose and also allows fresh air in and keeps windows from fogging up. I think it is a good idea for anyone...

Ran into Bonker in the fur buyer's parking lot. His motorcycle was broken down so he borrowed his wife's car for the day! LOL!!!

Been having a little luck chasing yotes around. Keep in mind that with this thawing and freezing weather we've been having you need dry dirt and some sort of antifreeze to keep your sets working. This set should be money, just a matter of time.... Coyotes are not the only critter that likes...
