    Tree tubes and T posts

I've had a few issues with the conduit bending over. But I have had way more issues with tree tube failure. Zip ties breaking , tubes deteriorating. I have thought that the conduit allows the tree to move a little more therefore gives a stronger trunk. Walnut black cherry and oak have all done...

    Wind

Cherry bombs, trying to spook deer out of your property? At least you get fireworks, around me they shoot into my timber to get them moving. Even during late muzzy. Road littered with empty shot gun shells after work a few days ago. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Turning existing plots into clover plots.

Frost seed for sure. I would let the rye go until the seed heads get to the dough stage, then mow. This will suppress weed growth and help hold moisture. As stated previously, add some p&k as Soon as you can. Soil test . Good luck. Also I wouldn't over seed peas, think They need a little depth...

    Youth season!

Wyatt got it done Saturday night! Just before the storm rolled in. Snuck into the blind with 15 turkeys and 2 does in the field. This buck worked its way from 125 yards into 50 yards. And Wyatt was ready. Patiently waited for 2 does to clear, and took the shot. Perfect right behind the shoulder...

    Youth bullet and powder

First year taking the kids hunting. We practiced with 42grains by weight of blackhorn 209. And 250 Barnes spitfire t-ez. They shot great! With a 50 Yard limit. The 250 TEZ were left over. I have 290 TEZ s. Any opinions on the load and a 290 gr. TEZ performance to 50 Yards? Thanks in...

    Cedars to newly planted oaks

Should work great. I would plant a ways away from the cedars you want to keep so there is no competition. Also find out what soil type you have (Monona, ect...) Some oaks do better in certain soils. Good luck
