Rut just seemed weird on my farm. Saw light activity over multiple weeks. Never the crazy few days. Not really related but I have a lot of messed up genetics and or injured racks too.

Friday afternoon saw 7 deer from 1.30 to 2.30. A Button and young 10 pt feeding in a food plot for 20 minutes. Then a mature shooter chased a doe across the plot with two more bucks in tow. Then 4.30 to dark had 7 does and fawns on the plot unmolested.

Its also an impressive rack when it takes a 32 ouncer to hold it instead of the normal 12! I'll overlook that it's PBR ;)

Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to sit still either!!!

Slow for me Saturday in se iowa. Buddy had his target buck on cell cam at 11 and 4. Of course he wasn't able to be hunting yesterday. The curse of the cell cam. Huh "the curse of the cell cam"...sounds like a good movie for one of us to make.

Do you have any idea how old he is? The trail cam pic makes his face look really old. Great job regardless.

I've only used it for turkey, but something like this is what I would try. Wearing a ghille coat/hood behind it would probably help a lot too. These are very portable but you need to stay close to the ground because they are not very tall.
