I used to hunt around Mt. Ayr, and one day was headed down that stretch and saw several deer with large racks off the highway. turned around to get a better look and there was a half dozen sika deer standing in the cover. I take it they were escapees from the Teague Ranch.

Mature 8 chasing five does Saturday morning, the rest of the weekend was young does and dink bucks walking the woods. Yesterday was leaving one farm to head over to the other at 1 pm and saw a nice 10 tending a doe just off the road. This is in southern Warren county.

Happy Veterans Day too all that have served and or still serving. I have soldiers in for training and it is an honor to be spending the next two weeks training and improving their knowledge.

The hard thing is when you only have 3" of pecker and trying to get it out of 6" of layered hunting clothes! :(:(:(

From roughly 7am to 11am yesterday, I had nine different bucks and six does either chasing or cruising the area in southern Warren county. Most movement I had seen for the week. Bad thing is I had to come back to work today. Will be back at it next weekend.

Due to work, I will start my rutcation today at 10:30am and will be hunting everyday till 5 Nov. First time in the stand this season and the weather change could not have come at a better time.
