Had a buck chasing a doe last night, then this morning had three does come by the stand with a dink buck in tow then a few minutes a small racked 8, then a 130" 8 came from the south and ended with a nice 10-12 point that I planned to draw on, but he didn't offer a shot and moved the other bucks...
Several decent bucks moving this weekend all the first land last hour and a half of the day, same with does. A nice 10 point was chasing about 6pm last night. Quite a few dink bucks also on the move. Had a coyote at 10 yards yesterday morning, but he got a pass due to a decent 3.5-year-old buck...

Start vacation tomorrow. Will also be my first time out. Torn meniscus in my left knee is limiting my stand locations this year and not really happy about the temps next week, but it is what it is. Better than working for sure.

Always knew they where there for years, but have seen more daytime movement from the stand the last two years on two different farms. I think coyotes do more damage to the turkey population then bobcats. Just my opinion?

I spoke with a few DNR Officers at the fair Friday and one of the officers there had just taken the only two that had been reported and one was in Lucas and the other in Allamakee. Of course many don't even get reported but was less then I suspected.
