Best place to buy a tractor?

We made the upgrade from a Ford 8n to a 67' JD3020 and then got a JD4020 cab with a front loader. These two can do ANYTHING that we have asked for them to do on food plots. Both were 7,000-9,000. The 3020 had 5700 hours on it and was a cherry tractor, but we drove to Nebraska to get it...

    They are breeding!

Always good to hear. I wondered if it was like deer where during the "peak" of the rut your only actually seeing like a 1/4 of the population in heat, where others may breed anywhere from September-Janurary. As a bow hunter I'm always out in the open anyway, so not real worried about the...

    Pretty Boy Improvements

I thought about painting the "yellow" sections of the wings....after seeing yours I think that made my decision. As for the real beard what did you use for it? I have extra real beards laying around but I dont think they will hold out real well in the elements.

    Pretty Boy Improvements

To be honest I just bought a cheap art acrylic. I know that it will chip more than likely, but touch ups here and there will keep it looking fresh. The paint cost like $2 bucks and I would rather do it with a brush over taping off and doing it with spray paint. If you rather go the spray...

    Pretty Boy Improvements

Always had a few issues with the Pretty Boy's head being mostly white....so I took matters into my own hands for this season to see what kind of reactions I could get out of this decoy now. Before I had sub par reactions and a few great ones...but in my eyes I've never seen a bird with this much...

little help from the turkey experts

I took my girl friend out last year for the first time. Here was my experiences: 3 weeks before the season we got permission to a property where we were constantly seeing birds. Every morning before school, she would take the extra "long" way to school to see if they were out and in the...

    Public Land Slobs...

I apologize for starting this thread. I didn't expect it to turn into this Non-Resident vs Resident battle that it has turned into for some reason. FYI, I walked by several other set ups....didn't have a problem with them. Ladder steps, or ladder stands used and NO trash anywhere near them...

    Public Land Slobs...

Actually if I really wanted to "rat" him out, I would have called the DNR immediately. This gives him a chance. And as mentioned before, its not the fact that the stand is still there...but that he is taking the natrual reasource for granted. Leaving trash directly under his tree... and using...

    Public Land Slobs...

I'm going to start off in saying that by NO MEANS am I saying that everyone that hunts public land or values its recreational purposes is a slob. Now with that disclamer....while out walking a new piece to me in Decatur County looking for sheds and for the joy of being outside....I couldn't...

    Check these blinds out

I'm suprised that no on commented on the Steven Tyler from Aerosmith endorcement.... I dont understand their marketing logic behind that one? No matter what they look cool...but when you can built a box out in the woods a month before you want to hunt it, and let the deer get use...

    Never again...

from my understanding its not just something that is on the hide or antlers....but has stained it and had time to set in over the 9 days while in the freezer. That's why it was deemed pretty much impossible to get it out.

    Never again...

And I would have too...but with work and warm January days, I didn't have time...so I trusted them to do it. Figured I needed to get it done ASAP before hair started to slip.

    Never again...

Will I take a deer to someone else to get caped. Took my muzzleloader buck to a local locker to have it done since I had to get going to work, and with a beautiful cape I didn't want to leave it overnight on a warm night and cause slipping to start. Well needless to say that beautiful cape is no...

    Redfield Scope

This is correct. Happened 2 years ago I believe. I own two of them, and for the money...its one of the best you can go with. I believe they are covered under Leupold's warranty. The real difference between the Redfield and Leupold is the Leupolds are multi coated inside and out, Redfields...
