No idea, like i said this is the first contact we have had with the deer. I believe he is living in the neighbors and just came through on a stroll. Nothing about him says car accident, so thats what worries me there.

A lot of people don't realize that this season is limited to private land only. :thrwrck:.....or they just don't care. seems to be a common attitude down there by a few.

State wide if your county has doe tags available. Private Land ONLY.

if the deer don't love you for them, the rabbits will...my dad has a rediculous number of hostas in our yard and a lot of very rare ones....rabbits do a lot of damage to them. relocation has been practiced heavily in our yard the last several years :)

It should, but it prolly wont. Being closer to Des Moines might only make things worse, maybe not with rifle poachers, but with tresspassers, who can be just as bad.
