We are facing the same problem grummer, we are in SE iowa and there is alot of corn and still a significant amount of beans in the fields. The rain has ground everything to a halt for at least the next 2-3 days.

What's it looking like? We have not been hitting it too hard and we had a report of heavy chasing but you always have that 1 person who exagerates around work. We have not witnessed any real heavy activity ourselves but the scrapes around home are getting a little attention. Any input?

Went to Colorado the last two years with so-so results. Alot of mulies but very few elk and alot of pressure. Thinking about a spike camp next year if I can find 1 or 2 people who would like to go. Any thoughts or experiences to share about becoming a successful Wapati hunter???
