We ended up catching the first deer of the season! We caught a young Doe and gave her some new bling. We caught a buck this morning! Unfortunately, he escaped! He broke all the rings off of the trap and got out... It happens! One of my technicians missed another doe last night while darting too.

I'm going to be darting deer in Illinois soon, I'll see how they react and my success there this year compared to last year. I don't know if we'll be administering COVID tests to these deer or not, but, I'll keep you updated.

A couple of my client's deer from here in Iowa. One more client for the 2021-2022 season and then I'll be headed to Illinois to dart deer and start all over again. No big plans for 2022 unless I draw some quality tags (I'll need a lot of luck).

Red Oak, Essex, Shenandoah, Coin, Sidney, and Thurman right now. I’m planning on leasing more stuff out in the future, but, working with what I have right now. I’m low quantity of hunters with high success at 140”+ or better and want to keep it that way.
