    Replant beans or not?

Need some opinions. I planted some soybeans about 3-4 weeks ago. We received a little rain, enough to get seeds popping. Then extremely dry for 3 weeks. So this soybean plot is a bust. Should I replant or wait to plant some rye or brassicas? This is in Western Iowa, Harrison county. Had a...

    Plant ID

While out trying to get a rogue cow off my property, I came across an area of concern. About a 1/4 acre of 12 year old oak trees are infested with a red thorny stalk type plant.3-5 feet tall, about a 1/2" in diameter on average. They lean over about the top third. I did not have my phone to take...

    New muzzle loader

One thing I have learned is that the blackhorn measure tubes are very inaccurate. Like many others, I weigh charges of blackhorn. I use the measuring tubes just to hold the powder.I don't have the chart in front of me ,but I believe 84 grains by weight is a "full charge". A reloading scale...

    Anybody?

I did not get out tonight. But I have a decent view of my food plot from a window in my house. Last night I watched both of my "hit listers" walk right in front of one of my tree stands. Their way of laughing at me before the season even started! Good luck everyone, be safe.
