If red oak then likely oak wilt. If bur oak, then possibly bur oak blight... Both can cause groups of trees to die. My bet would be oak wilt though... Not many timbers that don't have it to some extent.

Yep. :way: If you want a bit more accurate ID over the internet post a couple photos of the whole tree from a little ways away and the branches that are 1-3" in diameter

I'm sure this has been addressed but I still gotta ask... what are the health risks associated with such potent chemicals on your clothes? Seems to me this is some wicked strong stuff, which stands to reason it could pack a punch on humans as well? Skin problems?, etc.? Carcinogen?

Probably had it happen 5 or 6 times, but that's over a 150-ish (who knows) deer cut up.... I'm always cautious if there seems to be some abnormality in the hide, etc. No doubt about it, deer are survivors and take a beating throughout the year.... if not by broaheads ,by antlers, fences...

Hunting leases are a fairly specialized/variable market. Size of farm, neighborhood, and quality of deer are going to be big influences. I would lease the hunting rights to the farm as a whole. $10/acre and up... Some areas pay much higher just gotta find the right person.... Right, wrong...
