Meh, we do need to control population growth, especially amongst the poor. WE all end up paying for them anyway. Reducing population would mean less demand for food, energy, and land.......I'm down with that.

I'm not against you coming to Iowa, I'm against outfitters leasing up land, sometimes for supper cheap prices, displacing locals who can't afford to lease or pay the thousands they outfitters charge. Eff those guys. They will turn whitetail hunting into a rich man's sport.

You are correct. Outfitting displaces more local hunters due to leasing, than out of staters buying ground.

This is what it comes down to....access for the everyday Iowa citizen...and it's getting tougher due to douche bags commercializing it, leasing up ground and running an Outfitting business.

That's the point, its' bad management and should be done away with.

I'd be fine with nrlo's, in fact if we'd ban out fitters, it would be a fair trade.

I use the cabelas seclusion 3d winter. Just the cover ups over my hunting clothes..works great.

It's not that we don't like the economic value you add...we just get displaced by assholes who lease ground from farmers who used to give us permission. Then they charge $4500 a hunt for a week, I'm looking at you Tails of the Hunt, Midwest Outfitters,Southwest Iowa outfitters etc.

Same situation here...shot a 140 8, 3.5 year old that I could drag out with one arm..I felt horrible...but he dwarfed all 40 other deer that were on the field.

Why exclude corporations? There are several operating in Taylor and Page county, that are basically run as hunting clubs for out of state guys.
