    Avoiding change VS managing it

Fortunately I have family ground that is awesome for deer and turkey hunting, and patients that let me hunt as well. However, Taylor county residents are getting squeezed out buy conglomerates of buyers from Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. What I find humerous, is that the Wisky guys, shed hunt...

    Remington 870 Wingmaster 20 gauge

Update, I'll take $675, or would trade for a few different items, like a youth combo shotgun, in 20 gauge..but it would take a little cash to even it out.

    coyote hunters and their dogs.

I think if I saw someone drop their dogs off in my property, I would be within my rights to shoot the dogs, or keep them. However, if they were dropped off on ground where they had permission, and came onto my ground, that is ok, as long as no shots are fired or sheds picked up, on my poperty...

Not locked up all the time, but I invested in a petsafe wireless fence, and it does the job.

OneCam, love it. I have an old white barn that is going to come down, probably a bit faster after seeing your spread.

Hardwoods, several years ago our numbers were much higher, with less EHD. Density is a factor, but not the cause.

Late "Anterless" Season Opinions, ROUND 2!

Hmm..seems a lot of folks agreed with me in this thread Palex, and I imagine your opinion of me would be different if I was on the other side of the argument. I admit to being a bitter sonofabitch towards farmers. Had a couple of them tell me a few years ago, and I quote, "Iowa is for farming...

    Farm Bureau:

Too bad it's not that accurate anymore. Again, 1.6 million acres since 1990...out of CRP . 9 mile wide swath from CB to Davenport. I shouldn't stereotype....I know.

    Farm Bureau:

Agreed...sorry I went off on a tangent. My main point is that all the loss of crp and filter strips is a bad thing for all of us in the long run, and where there is $...there is corruption.

I have heard of people having that problem, can you contact Remington? Is it Jamming from the mag or is it an extractor issue?

    Remington 597

I have 597 LSS, I love it, and have had no problems with it whatsoever. I believe it to be as accurate or more so that a comparable 10/22. That said, the 10/22 has more upgrades available, accessories, and they are easier to find as well.

    Farm Bureau:

Will do. All business take a risk correct? I am A ok with federal crop insurance. Direct Subsidy payments for corn need cut, plain and simple. I know guys starting out now have it rough, but down here, most are farming ground that's paid for already. Do you want to take all the risk out of...

    Farm Bureau:

You are probably misunderstanding. Farming doesn't cause obesity, eating a corn based diet increases obesity risks, and has also been called a pro-inflammatory diet. So, not sure why the hate for science. Afterall, science has brought new hybrids forth that could still produce a crop with the...
