I have been contemplating this too. I have been leaning towards a 29 first pin and 19 for 2 and 3 and maybe 4. Thinking about a 10 for pin #5. However not sure what kind of tweaks can be made without increasing costs too much. I have never even shot a 10 so maybe that is too small. Any...
With public ground where you are not to screw in anything to the tree what are people using for a bow hanger? I haven't found a good strap on bow hanger. I have taken a few stabs on making one but so far are more cumbersome and heavy than what I am hoping for. Any good idea's???
Anybody tried the UA line of footwear. Have been looking into Muck boots, but UA makes decent gear. The price is decent compared to Muck as well. Not sure about the weight or comfort of them. Anybody tried any out and have any opinions? THX
Well since nobody else has mentioned it. I shoot an APA Viper. The little extra's they have tacked onto the bow are pretty amazing. The carry handle is priceless. The quiver I originally got on my Switchback will mount to it as well, which I still have the bow. Another one I am shocked...
My old rubber boots are not very comfortable. I have been thinking about getting a pair of Muck boots. I didn't realize that they made so many different lines. They seem nice and light and if they breath like they say they do I think they should work out nice. Some cons I have found are that...
I have been wanting to pick up a different release. I like the looks of the Scott Little Bitty Goose, but have not actually been able to shoot it yet. I have also borrowed a Spott Hogg Wiseguy. This release is a little bulkier than what I am used to. However it does shoot nice. Does anybody...
Spicy bloody marry mix is good too... I like to keep jalapeno juice and use some of that as well. Canned tomato with green chillies are a nice addition. Basically anything that adds spice. Fritos are great.
I was wondering what people's thoughts were on the Badlands Sacrifice Internal Frame pack. I know people here really like the 2200 and the weight and price of this one is similar. Just wondering what opinions were. Main usage would be a primary hunting pack.
I hunt an area that sounds very similar. The acorn crop really seems to determine what you see late season. The neighbors property is VERY thick so it seems they hole up over there. Late season seems to be pretty rough in the river bottoms.
The one thing I did remember was that most liked one more than the other I just couldn't remember which way it went. I think I will have to look up the Primos. Thanks all!
I know it has been talked about before but I can't search far back enough apparently to find what I was looking for. I am going to get a new grunt call and I was thinking about one of the growl calls. Which growl call would be best for growl and grunt?
THANKS

Buying used will save you money, but you also get used. You could look into some not so popular name brand new bows as well for the price of a used name brand bow. Martin for example is making some decent cheaper bows. Shoot a few to see what you like. Then see if your pocket book agree's.
now I am even more confused... stopped in at the local boot shop and they said beezwax was really bad for gortex style boots. They recommended a silicone type spray - which sounded like it would be bad news to me.
Shovel haven't seen your recommendation yet.
I found saddle soap while...
