I just wanted to get opinions on QDM in Iowa. Do you think it is important?
Those of us who live in IA know that we are living in one of the best deer hunting states in North America. We produce quality deer year after year. Do you think QDM would be helpful, or do you think it is...
I have also experienced this same situation. I have a staging area that I hunt and for the last 8 years the bucks are all typical 8's. If they make it to 4.5yrs, they appear to score mid 140's. Out of the 8 years of hunting this spot, I have seen two other deer that are not typical 8's...

Keep up the good work with qdm.

Did you guys get...

Are the Vcams easy to make compared to digital trail cams?

6.5 - 7. Otherwise you'll produce fine at 5 - 7.
When you buy your seed, your dealer or manufacturer can answer your question in more detail.
Has anyone tried any name-brand cool season forage mixes (tecomete, biologic, etc..)
I buy all of my seed...
Old Buck has the right idea. Four wheelers are extremely handy and versatile. Smaller utility tractors are a little more friendly when discing or planting. If you have the money to buy both, I would recommend it. If your land is open and easy to access, I would stick with the tractor. JMO...
