    tree stand overlooking my ground

Go talk to him like someone else said. If he gives you trouble, then take action...at your discretion. Unfortunately, their are a lot of hunters that use bad judgement. It brings the rest of us down. Good Luck, BT

    Montec TEKAN Broadhead

When I was up at the QDMA nationals a couple of weeks ago, the Montec rep didn't even have them on his booth. I would've asked but he was never even at his booth. I know in the cabelas catalog it shows they come in 100gr??????? I was about to order them even though I don't like expandables...

    Food Plots vs. Corn

It all depends on what you plant and what food is readily availible in the immediate area. This year I have beans on my property, as well as red & ladino clover food plots. The deer will and are eating the beans right now. They haven't even touched the clover yet. As soon as the soybeans...

    National QDMA Convention

That's an excellent idea if he is interested. I'm still waiting for the midwest rep to give me a date when he can come down for the meeting. I will email him again and find out what his story is. I will let you guys know as soon as possible. Thanks, BT

    Digital Camera's

Fellas, I'm looking to buy a digital camcorder for filming deer hunts or deer in general. Does anyone recommend a camera? I'm splitting the camera between three people so our spending limit is around 800.00. Also, do you think their will be any problems with a digital camcorder in colder...

    National QDMA Convention

First off I would like to apologize for not being on the site for a month. I moved and just now hooked up a phone line for dial up purposes. So I apologize if anyone was trying to hunt me down. For those of you who didn't make it to the national convention (99% of you), you missed out on...

    Pompas Grass?

Thanks for the responses, I had heard that the grass does a good job of overpopulating. It is nice stuff though, too bad. Thanks, BT

    Stupid Question for Big Timber

Super, Sorry for the late response. It looks like your question is already answered but I wouldn't hesitate to put something in the timber. Even a small patch of clover or whatever you want to plant will help. OGZ hit the nail on the head. Thanks, BT

    2004 Big Morel Contest!

Fellas, I haven't even seen one yet and not to mention, they don't last long after 80 degrees. I wonder if they are even going to come up? It's been too dry prior to today. You might win the competition by just finding one. Illegal Morel growers will be prosecuted and disqualified from the...

    Pompas Grass?

Just wondering if anyone has tried planting pompas grass for wildlife cover. I heard it takes a couple of years to bloom but reaches heights of 6-12 feet tall. Let me know or even if you would suggest something else. With this rain were gonna have plenty of growth. BT

    Questions?

I would ask them what their thoughts are on qdm. If they are hostile about it, dont' push it. If not, then discuss the situation and just tell them what you are trying to accomplish. If they are interested in hunting quality deer, they will follow your lead. Good Luck, BT

    How many registered QDMA members?????????

Limb, The magazine is definitely worth the money. The organization in general is worth the money. It actually has a goal, unlike a lot other org's. Just sack up and pay the fee, I promise you'll like it. BT

    Food plot tip

I am not 100% on this but explain to me how that would be any different than planting clover and mowing it? I don't see where the baiting argument could be used but you guys are right, it needs to be addressed. The corn plots are essentially food plots, they are still grown from the soil. I...
