If it is illegal to shoot an elk in Iowa, which i believe it is, then why is the DNR shooting them? In that case if the same type of scenario come by me as Hotshott....I am letting an arrow loose and should not get in any trouble right???
I have both and love to shoot them...regardless which one I pick up. My longbow is a smoother shooter and I am more accurate with it. The recurve is much faster though.
Best thing to do is just go shoot them both and see which you like. If you are near SE IA, you can swing by and shoot mine...
