....and went out with a few buddies and shot our limit of birds!
I've been concentrating on filling my deer tag so much this is really the first time I've been out all year.
Somehow I forgot how much enjoyment I get from watching the dogs work a field. Even though the temp was a little raw, we...
HME Products makes several different bow holders that will attach right to your stand that are very good and you don't need to worry about screwing or strapping to a tree.
They also make a strap on bow hanger that is pretty nice.
I sell the ones that attach to the stand but not the strap-on...
Just wondering if anyone has had any success rattling the past few days?
I'm not sure whether to sit quiet and grunt at one if I see him and he needs coaxed my direction or try rattling this weekend.
I absolutely think it makes sense to install Life Lines on Ladder stands and I have them on ALL of my ladder & 'regular' stands. I just tie it off to the bottom with a little slack in the line- enough that you can move the line out of your way when you're to the top, but obviously not so much...
I was chuckling thinking "That's pretty cool" when I saw the beaver......I actually spoke out loud and said several bad words starting with "Holy......." when I scrolled down & saw that buck!
That thing is awesome! Congrats!
To answer your question, Lyon- I was talking to our local CO during turkey season and this got brought up and it was explained that if you're sending/receiving texts to tell the whereabouts of a critter you would be written up.
With that said, I get WillBates' point too.....can't stop them from...
I didn't get to see the pics either, but good luck with him.
I read the other thread too and have a suggestion for you.......I read in the other thread that you're hoping to get the story in NA Whitetail and I hope you get the buck and some great photos so you can do just that. I've read...
I hang mine nearly all of the time. I hunt pretty open country and am glassing with binocs a lot and it's hard to hold them steady & focus with one hand and I'm always afraid it's going to slip off my lap & out of the tree if I put it in my lap.
If you're 16-64 you need a habitat stamp. Resident landowners do not need a habitat stamp (if they are hunting on their own ground of course).
That's absolutely NOT TRUE that they can't void a license. There's a 'Void' function right on the screen after the license prints. It's a bit of a...
Good post, thanks for sharing!
I'm a freak about harvest photos, but almost every time I get done I wish I'd done something different & then it's too late.
I always think it's a shame when I see great deer on here with less than great (bad) harvest photos.
Now hopefully I get a chance to take...
I'll throw out there that I use the HSS Lifelines on all my stands & they are great! They keep you safe on your way up & once you get to the top & you're never unhooked from the time you leave the ground.
I'm not smart enough to tie one of those fancy knots :o and I don't trust my life to...
