I thought that too when I saw it at the show. I can just imagine the guys scoring it standing there with their tape measures....put it here, put it there, try again & just throw their hands up in the air & saying "Aw hell, I give up!" :grin:

I'd be very interested to know, of all the deer over the years that have been shown at the Iowa Deer Classic over the years, how many have been stolen afterwards. :rolleyes: I'm sure it's happened, but from your post you act as if it's almost a sure thing.

Really? I disagree. I'm not saying that the one in your pic isn't very realistic, especially compared to some others out there, and that it wouldn't work well, but IMO if you're strictly comparing the realism between the two....well, there's no comparison!

If I knew what DSD's stood for I'd have a better chance of not knowing what I was missing. As it stands now I don't even know what it is that I should have but don't own and therefore don't know what I'm missing. :p But seriously, what does that stand for?

I agree. I wonder if they enjoy their occupations as much as they did when it was just hunting big whitetail deer. I would think that their lives are pretty hectic with TV gigs, sponsors, travel, etc. Not to mention the pressure to put big deer on the ground for the camera and their show, not...

I've got a 'fairly decent' pair of binocs now (the best I could afford at the time) and overall, I'm really, really happy with them. I did make the mistake of looking thru a pair of Swaros when shopping (WOW!!), so they're on my bucket list, but at this point of my life, taking an elk or moose...
