In all honesty, I'd say go for it. I don't have much (23 acres), but I've only had it for 1.5 years and its definitely the best decision I've ever made.

I sat pry 45 times between Bow and late muzz., and had one chance at a mature buck(that I biffed on).
Wishfull thinking to someone young like myself with hopes to buy some more land in the future. I guess I don't see it getting much below what it is now. I think farm land may dip some or level off, but rec. land will stay about where it is.
Hay has been trumping both in my neck of the woods as of late, but sadly not my hay field.
I think being off the road a ways and unpressured makes a difference to.
