Never had an arrow explode on me (knock on wood) but I have had a nock bust on release and that isn't a good time either.

My best friend is a taxidermist and he had a buck come in about a week ago that had someone's bow hoist wrapped around his left G-2, G-3 and main beam. Seems that the buck was making a rub on a tree and got tangled in the rope and snapped it off. He is having him mounted with the rope on the rack.
