    Plant choice

I have a clay/sand soil around my pond. You can see in the pic where I brought it a load of horse manure. My question tho, which one would be best to plant in the not so good soil, I have clover, rye, and turnips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Apple/Pear Trees

Thanks sligh! I seen earlier today on a fb farm swap page that someone had the same problem on their apple trees too. There was numerous comments on buying Sevin that would go on the end of a hose. So I bought that on amazon. If you think I’d be better off with what you mentioned above I’ll go...

    Clover

What kind of clover from welter do you recommend to frost seed? Plan on doing maybe 3-4 acres. Will probably leave some up throughout the year but majority will be tilled under for rye and turnips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What do you do for a living?

I got a degree in nuclear technology, now I am a reactor operator. Can’t complain about anything really, besides working swing shift. But that too has its pluses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    soal system

Just thought I would share my experience with installing a solar system on my pole barn. The math just doesn't make sense why I don't see more of them around. I think it is still kind of "new" around here. Anyways here are the breakdowns for my system. for a 12.075 kW system initial...

    New tractor

I'm going to buy a tractor today from a guy. Do tractors have a title? I think they would since my polaris sportsman has one.

    New tractor

I have a guy wanting to trade me my lil kubota b7200 for his b3000. And $16,000 on my end. I was wanting a 50 hp tractor but I think a 30 will do just fine for what I'll use it as. It's a 2011 with only 330 hours. Think this a good deal? Come with belly mower, loader and forks...

    New tractor

The dealer is about an hour away from my house, so I'm assuming that they would be able to help me with parts and service.

    New tractor

was wondering what everyone's idea was on purchasing a new ~50 hp tractor with a loader. I am not a farmer. Just a guy that lives on 10 acres and messes around a lot with food plots on various farms. My question is which brand is best for the least amount of money. I will not be beating the hell...

    Apple/Pear Trees

what kind 0f apple trees would you recommend to plant in my backyard (10 acre lot, butts up to a tree line and crop field, numerous deer travel through) for the deer and for the family to eat as well.

    Brassica Food Plots

I'm sure others will chime in, but historically it might take deer a little bit to figure out or to start liking it. It is not uncommon for deer to hardly hit brassicas on the first year.
