    Ants in my Trail Cams

They must be really bad this year. I have had an occasional camera or two with ants but this year they seem to be worse. I was shooting for the first time a couple weeks ago and they poured out of my target that just sits outside.

    Spotting scopes

When I have gone out west, I have had good luck with the window mount. I have a bass pro spotting scope that I bought last year, and I wasnt impressed at all when I took it to Wyoming. When I head out to Arizona this august I am going to buy a new one, so I am interested to see what others say...

advice on getting new properties to hunt

I have always used a platbook as well. I know asking face to face would give me better odds but was curious if anyone has sent out a letter. I figured if I sent out 50 or so and got 2-3 yes then it would be worth it.

advice on getting new properties to hunt

I am curious to know what has worked and what hasn't worked for some people on getting permission on new farms. I know that each case is a little different. I had a buddy show me GIS maps, which basically shows me who owns the property, when they bought, how much they paid for it, and what...

    sweet corn

I am going to try to plant sweet corn. I have never tried before, so with that being said. I want to till up a section in my backyard around 8' wide and around 30 yards long. Would I be better off tilling up the ground now (its grass now) and throwing down clover and letting it come up for a...

    Vortex bino size?

I am going to be purchasing a new pair of vortex binoculars soon. I was wondering what size do you guys use. I have always owned 10X42 but is it worth the money to get a different size? I have a few stands that over looks fields and have traveled west the past couple years to mule deer hunt...
