buckhunter, i shoot a T/C Omega, basically same gun, except mine has more of a twist. i truly don't believe that you have to have a major/high priced scope to have a good shooting gun. on my Omega i have a 3X9X32 Simmons Black Powder scope. have never had a problem seeing deer that far away...

hey buckhunter, you have to ask yourself a couple questions! 1. what is the average distance you actually shoot while hunting? 2. is the area you most likely will ML hunt brushy/thick? if the area you hunt allows you to take 150-200 yard shots i myself would recommend using 2 50g pyrodex...

outdooraddict, i too used to own a bobcat. i had the same problem you had multiple times, many while hunting. the way i solved the problem is exactle what muddy mentioned. cut down tremendously on miss fires.i don't think it's a cap problem! good luck

CVA is the best bang for the buck out there! you get just as good a shootin' gun as any out there at a lot less price. IMO, although some may not agree, CVA ranks second to T/C but anyways leave your gun loaded with the primer out of the gun, just make sure it don't sweat!

let me tell ya, we have check stations here in ohio, always have, and they don't cut down on illegal doings! you can bet that for every deer killed tagged and taken to a check station, there are atleast 2 that aren't!

nothing works better for getting the residue out than PEROXIDE.......... pour about an inch or inch and 1/12 in the barrel, let it set for a minute or 2, wipe barreal out with dry rag, repeat steps 1 and 2 again and then wipe with oily rag. leaves barrel looking brand new!!!
