    Ozonics

Not trying to be a smart ass, but most "old school" guys I know would rather beat a deer with only their hunting skills not an electronic gadget. It's not that the product works or doesn't, it's satisfaction from beating the animal in every form. Where do you draw the line, I guess it's what you...

@ Dars! She took out her front teeth and set them on the bar. Bless her heart!

    my new beaver

We used to hunt beaver in your neck of the woods years back. First beaver I ever seen without front teeth was in Waukon.

Nothing is 100% when it comes to scent control. Even if it works, it's just another crutch......put the wind in your face and get after them.

Press Release from Farm Bureau & Gov. Town Meetings

I don't think that'll amount to much. Going to these town hall meetings and other direct contacts with Brandstad is going to be imperative. I guess we'll find out how much our deer hunters want this. Find a meeting and be heard.

    Drury's sit down with IADNR

I believe they tried doing this before the big buck craze.......not realizing what the season structure meant to the herd. "Every other" deer hunter walking around with his weenie in one hand and an antler in the other is a recent phenomenon. Years back, people were just happy to shoot "a" deer.

    Texas Comes to Iowa (VIDEO)

Those Texas boys are probably wrecked now........big turkeys and not $$$ to hunt them. Nice hunt fella's. :drink2:

    Hf 327 & sf219

Each year that goes by, the more NR's telling us how to manage our deer and licenses just warms my little heart.

    Gov Branstad rejects DNR proposal

WOW.........this kinda caught me off gaurd Randy. I wrote him the other day, even though I truely figured he'd follow the DNR plan. Makes ya wonder if he even looked at the DNR info......cause from what I seen it'd be hard to argue against it. Another year of this crap and the deer will be...

    Cutting Doe Tags

Isn't Farm Bureau the greatest! :moon: I asked the Gov to let our DNR continue doing their job. It is working.....and in many parts of Iowa.....it's working to well.

    Lost an old friend

Wouldn't it be neat to know the year that acorn hit the ground! Just another part in the circle of life. I like the firewood and groundblind ideas.

    DSD running count

They look damn good, but I think movement is where it's really at. Every since I put a string and spring on my B Mobil so it will spin/return on control, the birds have eaten an arrow (under 10 yards) every season. What more can you ask for......... BTW......the crow post was hilarious.
