I work with a taxidermist, All deer have long eyelash whiskers like that, they're just overlooked, im guessing it's a doe and at that angle u cant see all of the ear so it looks short.

They're not chasing a deer because a deer will take a b-line out of there and will go on a cross country chase. Unlike a coyote that will run in circles. (unless it's breeding time and u get after a male coyote that's a long ways from home)

Yeah, sounds like running hounds to me, one just has a high pitched mouth, coyotes tend to run in large circles around a section or 2 which explains why u heard it most of the night. We use to run hounds every weekend until gas prices got high. I really miss it.

Got a buddy that shoots them some, seem to fly okay but if ur shooting with a group of friends they're all gonna aim for them lol

I use and arctic shield hand muff, I also don't like a glove on my release hand, these things are the best thing ever invented

I have a pull up face mask but I just leave it around my neck til I see a deer, then I pull it up. If I'm in one my better concealed stands I won't wear anything to cover my face, until it gets cold and I need it

Can't even believe there's people that think 50 yards is too far, even worse, can't believe a guy won't shoot a deer past 30!!! My brother shoots 40 very very accurately with his freakin recurve. My wife is extremely deadly at 50 and pretty damn good at 60. These new bows are meant to shoot...
