Hey everyone, i just got my new 2010 Elite GT500 2 days ago and took it to a well known big box store in Iowa City to have them put on a custom string and get everything in tune. That was friday morning and considering how busy they got they did good in getting me in and out. Besides papertuning...
Bring the card home and download Pandora Recovery and give it a try. There are also plenty of other free ones out there. Who knows, maybe theres even a picture of the bassturd on there.
You could maybe try this one. http://www.backwoodsinnovations.com/Old_Oak.php
It is very similar to mine. Very easy to fold up and strap to your pack. The Muddy arms look a little larger and bulkier to carry.
Is his rack like that every year? If it is, you might as well get rid of him.
If it isn't like that every year, give him till next year and see what he looks like.
I know it's not a newer truck, it's a 96 Bronco. But i like the drop down tailgate for getting all my equipment ready and i took out the backseat. Haven't had that in there since 2000. It's got all kinds of room for my hunting and fishing stuff. Plus, i don't mind sharing the space with a deer...
I bought a dozen when i fletched some arrows a couple years back and shot one or two a couple times but never really have given them a chance to see what they could really do.
Does anyone here on IW shoot FOBS? and if so, what do you think of them?
I know they are better in a cross wind...
Glad you posted this Blake. I'm getting ready to fletch up some arrows and all i have ever used is a stright clamp on my Bitz. I have been wanting to try a helical fletch and have a friend with a helical clamp so i'm going to give it a try.
Cooter - your pictures still show the Versa Button.
Are the UCR ropes still used with the versa buttons? How are they adjustable this way?
I was wondering if Muddy's rope cam system could be used on the LW sticks.
Most people don't stop to think about their wallet or belt leaving scent behind. Your belt may have gotten sweatty at one time and hold that smell so i make sure i have a dedicated hunting belt to use. Your wallet definately has a leather smell to it. I still carry mine but am going to change...
I want to buy a stand/sticks combo for run and gun bowhunting someday and currently doing some research on each product. They each have their strong points, but it would be great if you could combine the best of each one into one package.
The things i like about each:
the longest sticks...
Hey everyone. I have only one picture of this buck so far this year but he looks like a shooter to me. I realize it's kinda hard to guess the age of this buck in this body position but could you guys give it a try?
I went out to put a stand up today and just happened to be coming up on an outside corner of a beanfield. I was taking it slow, looking around the corner just in case anything was in the field. Just then i noticed a big, heavy 10 point rack sticking up out of the beans only 20 yards away. Velvet...
Whatever you decide to do just remember that the best thing you can do is put them where you would expect no one to go, and camoflage them the best you can.
I have had quite a few cameras on public ground before. It seems like most times, even if you think your in a place you wouldn't expect to see anyone else, you still wind up getting someones picture. Just hope they are nice enough to leave it.
About 10 years ago i had a Trailmaster setup that...
Direct inhalation of ozone is hazardous to your health. I'm guessing they need to find a way to make it effective while exhausting the ozone out of the blind.
In a treestand it's not so bad because as Todd says, it's blowing out in front of you.
I have a Rode Videomic on my Canon HV20 and like it. But i do have a couple small complaints about it.
I have went through about 4 hotshoe mounts on mine. If you carry your videocamera around with the shotgun mic hooked up it will eventually fail and break. I usually don't carry the...
