Will never change Mo gun season because gun hunters won't let it happen. Just like the party hunting in Iowa. Now if Mo moved the gun season out of the rut, only allowed 6000 non.res. tags and no non.res.landowner tags. You guys wouldn't have any where to go after you filled your Iowa tags.
Why would you put a food plot there? Just going to make it harder getting in and out with out getting busted. Now the deer just move through the area. With food there they will hang around.
flugge The easiest thing to do is call your local DNR office or stop in. No the easiest thing to do if you don't own the land is to use the two buck tags that you can buy as a res. and be glad you get to shoot two.
Droptines This is not a loop hole for NR landowners any NR can do it. I called the DNR to ask about it and was told I should do it if I wanted to hunt my own land every year. So I don't think its a loop hole at all when you have the DNR telling you to do it.
Kansas has the same lifetime license. You buy it when you move and pay res. tag price the rest of your life. Iowa will never do that when they can get you for 700.00 every three or four years.
Where did you put the pin? At 10 aim for the armpit ( or at least what I would do )
If your on the ground do the above. If your in a tree stand 20' high aim for the middle of the body to get both lungs. You aim for the armpit and all you will get is brisket.
