For those of you thinking of getting an IWOM or HBS... I just received an email this morning from IWOM saying that they will be offering Predator Fall Grey for the 2015 season. So if you were on the fence of which one to get, that might just help you make your decision.
Taxi I took mine to this fall is right at about 9 months or so and sticks to it. My dad has had a couple done by him and it's always been about that 9 month time frame. He got my deer right before Thanksgiving and should have it in sept or somewhere close to there.

I will also add that when you're 18, most people don't take into consideration what Skip is talking about as far as student loans. I barely have any school loans but my wife however has a boat load. But also has a Masters that will hopefully end up paying off in the long run. But for right now...
I would go to SDSU if I were you. I miss Iowa but SD hunting is pretty dang good.
You may not be a bird hunter now but if you get hooked up with the right people from SD, you will become one in a hurry. (same goes with fishing)
You will have the opportunity to hunt a few things you don't have...
