I will start putting a few bushy willows in the ground on my feeding areas, 3rd week of august to get some velvet stripping pics.

I bet that one got attention Justin. I've been adding grape vines to the branches of my Willows too. I would also worry about all of that wire he uses, too easy to get it wrapped on a beam or big non typical tines

Just a general observation but I get all of my mowing done by May 24'th and I never see fawns. Any time I try to mow after May 27th-28th there are are new fawns laying everywhere. I don't mow anything but my yard and some clover in June

It does bother them, especially in a situation on a leased hunting farm, where the owner has the rowcrop leased to one person and the hunting rights to another. And the farmers cattle getting into it are another matter.

I pay full price. The farmer comes out ahead not having to pick, store and transport it. But I figure he deserves it for all of the deer damage he has to tolerate, after I have been leaving crops standing in the same fields for 20 years.
