Me too, with a 2 or 3 picture burst. I feel like you would miss too much with a 5 minute delay, especially when bucks are in bachelor groups all summer. Really just depends on what cameras you are using and how dependable they are.
Your afternoon hunt should be great. Morning hunts are getting hit and miss, or just too high risk anywhere near food, here now. We wont be doing many morning from here on.
If you can hunt it yourself 1st shotgun, I would do that, before a good portion of the bucks have been removed from the general area. Be there to catch them off guard opening day, gonna be perfect weather this year.:rolleyes:
Not at all, I usually don't even trim out the valves and top stuff. It's all good.
When we used to shoot alot of pheasants and ducks, we would store the hearts seperate, for a big year end meal.
Butchicken may have some other issues, but in areas that see alot of activity all ready, sure no problem. If you can avoid it, no doubt would be better. I prefer checking cameras with vehicles, but hunting I want to go stealth.
