    That's one of the biggest disadvantages to more and more people holding out for trophy class deer without regard to age. The better young deer get screened out more often than in the past IMO because they're more visible at 3 and their range is way too broad. I had a 130" 2 year old come by...

    They're a very hardy oak for browse. I've killed more than 400 on my place and need to do a whole bunch more. If you all want any acorns this fall, I'll see if they're producing this year on the farm....or come down and pick your own if you want.

    It can be done. What I do is drill holes up about 5" from the bottom of the tub to let excess water drain out. Then when it's excessively hot during summer, you can just dump a 5-gallon pail of water in the tub as needed.
